After a bad experience at a dry cleaner, which included Dan’s suit being dry cleaned with a wedding garter still in its pocket, he knew there had to be a better way. After his experience, he went to dry cleaning school in Maryland. Not long after that Mulberrys went from an idea to a reality. It wasn’t long for the brand to grow from one to 14 stores.
Today, Mulberrys uses technology, pickup and delivery services, an on-demand app, and eco-friendly detergent to deliver its dry cleaning and laundry services to customers in San Francisco and Minneapolis. It has changed the way customers view the dry cleaning industry. Dan Miller hopes to continue to innovate the industry.
